Goutham College was established in 1986 and it is one of the pioneer institute in Bangalore. The Nursing School is the first in India to introduce Computer Application in Nursing.
It is affiliated to Bangalore University.
Courses :
The institute offer courses like Master and bachelor degree of Nursing, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Bio-Chemistry, Physotheraphy, Pharmacy, Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery, G.N.M, Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician.
Infrastructure :
The institute has lavish infrastructure which includes well stocked library, well furnished classrooms, well equipped labs, Separate hostel for boys and girls.
Admission Procedure :
The eligibilty for undergraduate courses is 10+2 pass and for post graduate courses the elibility is graduation. The admission to most of these courses is done through various entrance tests at different levels and for rest of the courses the admission is done directly.
Fee structure :
Information regarding the fee structure can be availed at the office. Once advance / fees paid cannot be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances. Clinical fee, transportation fee, hostel deposit, uniform, immunization, Kannada and English coaching classes, first aid, laboratory fees ect., are charged extra. The reservation of seat is liable to be cancelled on grounds of ineligibility or due to Govt. / University rules and regulations etc. that may be framed from time to time. If any student voluntarily withdraws or is dismissed after admission / before completion of the course, the student should remit the fee for the entire course.
