Government Dental College Thiruvananthapuram is the oldest dental college of Kerala. Over the decades, the college has earned the reputation of being the best dental college in the state.
It is affiliated to University of Kerala. The institute offers dental and oral health care education at multiple levels. The courses offered by the college are recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI).
Admission Procedure :
Undergraduate:
Bachelor of Dental Surgery
The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized board, with 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Economically and socially backward classes are benefited with exemption of 10% from the total marks required. The minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.
Certificate course
The candidates should have successfully completed Matriculation or equivalent exam from a recognized Board.
Post Graduate:
The candidate should have successfully completed BDS from a recognized university.

The candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in KEAM conducted by board of entrance examinations.

The students are admitted as per the norms of university of Kerala.
