People’s Dental Academy was established in 2004 and is one of the pioneer institute in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The academy is affiliated to Barkatullah University (B.U).
The academy is to educate and train students to ensure excellence in the practice of the art & science of the dental profession. This requires graduates to be technically skilled, knowledge able in the biological sciences, compassionate, and sensitive to the need of all patients and the community. The academy fosters innovative teaching, research, scholarship and community service.

Eligibility
Candidate must be Bonafide citizen of India .
Candidate must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete the age on December 31 of the year of admission
Candidate must have passed 10 + 2 or and equivalent course in the Science Stream -- viz Biology, Physics and Chemistry -- from the recognized Indian University or Board of Secondary Education.
Candidate must have secured not less than 50% in the aggregate in the science subjects and English taken together in the qualifying examination. For SC/ST Candidates these minimum marks shall be 40 percent

B.D.S
Duration :- Four year programme followed by one year compulsory internship.
The Degree of B.D.S. shall be awarded to candidates who have undergone a period of certified study extended over four academic years from the date of commencement of Dental Curriculum with compulsory Rotating Internship extending over a period of one calendar year, thus marking it a five - year course.
Eligibility Criterion ::
All candidates desirous of seeking admission through the above tests must fulfill the following conditions as laid down by the Dental Council of India:
- Candidate must be Bonafide citizen of India .
- Candidate must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete the age on December 31 of the year of admission
- Candidate must have passed 10 + 2 or and equivalent course in the Science Stream -- viz Biology, Physics and Chemistry -- from the recognized Indian University or Board of Secondary Education.
- Candidate must have secured not less than 50% in the aggregate in the science subjects and English taken together in the qualifying examination. For SC/ST Candidates these minimum marks shall be 40 percent
- Candidate must be medically fit.
Admission ::
Admission to the B . D . S . programmed shall be through:
- Through the state government 's Pre-Medical Test (PMT) conducted by the professional examination board Selection of the student shall be strictly on the basis of the merit, subject to the prescribed government regulation of reservations.
- An independent competitive examination, by the Association of Private Dental and Medical Colleges of Madhya Pradesh.
- As directed by Deptt. of Medical Education Govt. of MP / Honourable Court(s).
