PRAVARA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES (DEEMED UNIVERSITY )

Intake Capacity : 50 seats.

Duration :- Four and half years degree course with compulsory six months rotatory internship.

Prerequisites:-

• Candidate should be 17 years of age on or before 1st December of the Academic year in which admission is sought.
• Candiate should obtain more than 40% marks in CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by this Deemed Unviersity.
• The Candidate should have passed the higher secondary school examination with English, Physics,Chemistry & Biology or its equivalent (12 years schooling certificate) with not less than 40 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together .
• It is neccessary to pass in each head of passing (Theory, Practical and Oral) of each subject and the examination as a whole in one and same attempt.

This course provide an educational programme through which the graduates will be prepared to assume responsibility in the primary, secondary and tertiary care of people as professional nurses. It is expected that graduates are capable of teaching and supervising appropriate nursing and health care in different settings and participate in the administration of nursing service and education.

Intake Capacity : Total 30 Admissions

Semester: Four years degree course.

Prerequisites:-

The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
The minimum educational requirement shall be the passing of :
Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 year course)
OR
Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2), Pre-degree Examination (10+2) OR
An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 45% aggregate marks in (PCBE) and 40% aggregate marks in (PCBE) for backward class.
Candidate shall be Medially Fit.
Candidate should be appeared for the AICET Examination arranged by PIMS and should get 45% passing marks.
Further 5% relaxation is permitted to SC/ST students.

Duration:- Five years degree course.

• Candiate should obtain more than 50% marks in CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by this Deemed Unviersity.
• The Candidate should have passed the higher secondary school examination or its equivalent (12 years schooling certificate) with not less than 50 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together or any other equivalent examination of any other country duly recognised.
•  It is neccessary to pass in each head of passing (Theory, Practical and Oral) of each subject and the examination as a whole
