Raghavendra Institute of Pharmacutical Education and Research (RIPER) was established in the year 2002 and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur. It is the premier educational institute promoted by Raghavendra educational & rural devlopment society, which was established by a group of four Pharmacy graduates headed by Dr. Y Padmanabha reddy and Dr J. Ravindra Reddy having rich teaching and administrative experience of more than 15 years.

Admission to these courses require minimum qualification 50% marks in aggregate in the Science subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany and Zoology. Entrance exams held by university.
