AIIMS Exam

All India Institute of Medical Sciences - AIIMS conducts National level entrance exam every year  for the admission MBBS Programe.

AIIMS 2012 Entrance Exam Date:-

AIIMS 2012 Entrance Exam will be held in August 2012.

AIIMS Entrance Exam Eligibility:-

He/She should have attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission.

Candidates who have passed 12th class examination or  an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English securing a minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates) aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam Pattern:-

The question paper is divided into four sections (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Knowledge)

Duration of the exam is Three and Half Hours.

The test will comprise of 200 questions of objective type. Each question carries 1 mark.

Sections - No. of Questions:-

Physics - 60 Questions
Chemistry - 60 Questions
Biology - 60 Questions
General Knowledge - 20 Questions

Each correct answer shall be awarded 1 mark. While each wrong answer shall be penalized with -1/3 mark.

AIIMS Entrance Exam Syllabus:-

There is a specified syllabus of the test but the general standard of the entrance exam is that of 12th standard and the syllabus of PCM followed by different boards of higher secondary education across the country.
