MBBS course outline

STEP 1- NEET UG Entrance Exam
The qualifying examination (QE) is conducted by the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Board (NEET-UG).
- This exam is conducted twice a year – once in January/February and then again in July/August.
- The QE consists of two parts – Paper I and Paper-II. Both these papers are multiple-choice questions.
- Paper I has 100 marks and Paper II has 200 marks.

STEP 2 – State Counselling Registration

The state authorities are responsible for the counseling procedures of colleges in their own state and MCC is responsible only for the counseling process of deemed universities and 50% of All India Quota seats in all government medical colleges across the country. Every state has its own counseling, but some states invite students from all over the nation to register for counseling in their private medical colleges while some don’t.

- The final decision regarding admission is taken by the college principal based on the performance in the personal interview.
