The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) is a four-year programme leading to the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS). This programme is intended to prepare students for a general dentistry career. How to get BDS Admission through Management Quota?
The admission through management quota (AMQ) scheme was introduced in the year 2010-11.
- This scheme is open to students who have completed their 12th standard examination from any recognized board/university.
- Students are admitted based on merit in the entrance test conducted by the respective university. AMQ is offered only for undergraduate courses.
- Students are selected through a written exam followed by an interview. The selection procedure involves two stages: Written Exam & Interview.
- Eligible candidates should have passed the Class XII examination from any recognized Board/University. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories are exempted from this scheme.
