The college runs a BAMS course with a capacity of 100 students and a course in fourteen specialties with a capacity of 57 students in Ayurveda Vachaspati (MD Ayurveda) and Ayurveda Dhanvantari (MS Ayurveda). The college also has a doctorate degree. Courses in all 14 faculties.

BAMS Eligibiity Criteria:
Students are required to pass the 12th (10 + 2) Science Standard (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) or its equivalent and any other language known as English. He/she must obtain at least 50% of the total marks in the relevant science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) in the 12th standard examination.
The minimum age for admission is 17 years till 31st December of the year of admission in the first year of BAMS.

Due to the excellent educational and medical services in the field of Ayurveda, Dr. D. Y. Patil’s Ayurveda College and Research Center, Pimpri, Pune has made its presence felt across the country. Academic Admission Process at BAMS:-
The National Examination Board has been notified by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India to conduct it on a pan-Indian basis. NEET-UG 2025. Admission to the BAMS course will be based on the percentage of all-India ranking and grades obtained in NEET (UG 2025) hosted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Delhi. Eligible applicants will apply online for the UG (BAMS) course through the University Admissions Portal – Admissions.dpu.edu.in
Eligible candidates will be accepted upon payment of a processing fee of Rs 500 when applying online.
Upon receipt of applications from eligible candidates, the merit list will be displayed on the college website: ayurved.dypvp.edu.in
Applicants named on the merit list on the website must show up for the consultation on time or their admission will be considered revoked.
BAMS Criteria:
Students must pass Class XII (10+2) in Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) or any other exam known to be equivalent and one of the languages is English. He/she must score at least 50% in the relevant science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) in the 12th standard exam.
The minimum age for admission to the first year of BAMS is 17 years of age on December 31, the year of entry.

BAMS Direct Admission Procedure for 2025-26 Academic Year:
Applicants are required to submit the Admission Notice / Information / G.R./Circular for Medical Education and Research on the website of the Mumbai Authority (D.M.E.R.) (www.dmer.org/www.maha-ara.org/www.mahacet.org). Or the applicant may visit the website of the competent authority/state government for updated information after the change.
Admission to the BAMS course for the academic year 2025-2026 will be handled by the competent authority / State Government. Applicants selected by the competent authority for admission to our college are required to provide the required original certificates/documents and their photocopies in triplicate.
